Job Responsibilities
- Research and analyse algorithms for signal detection used in detectors
- Study patents and papers related to detection technologies
- Simulate detection algorithms in MATLAB and/or Python Environment
- Develop real-time Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software to implement algorithms on the Embedded Processors
- Develop subsidiary programs for collecting signal samples from devices at lab and/or the field
- Develop analysis programs on PC environment using Python, PyQt5, QT to visually analyse collected signals and report the results in well-defined formats
- Develop documentation and test plans for the algorithm and the software
- Test the algorithms at the lab and the field
- Investigate, debug, and modify existing code
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering
- Solid understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Techniques
- 5+ years of directly applicable work history in DSP Programming
- Proficiency in Real-Time C Programming language
- Proficiency with microcontroller IDE Design & Development Tools
- Strong understanding of Software Development practices
- Experience with Real-Time Kernels and/or Operating Systems
- Knowledge of signal processing theory and techniques such as filtering, detection, estimation, compression, modulation, demodulation
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with ST, Renesas, Microchip, TI or similar processor platforms is a plus
- Experience in real-time Detection and Classification problems is a plus
- Understanding of Electromagnetism and Electromagnetic Induction Theory is a plus
- Experience with Python, MATLAB and QT is a plus
- Experience with Machine Learning is a plus
- PhD degree is a plus
